A good studio site is editorial and unhurried: large images, each project told as a story with the brief and the outcome, a clear account of your process and fees, and an enquiry form that asks what you would ask on a first call.

What it must get right.

    “Architect” is a protected title

    In the UK only people registered with the Architects Registration Board can call themselves an architect in business, so architectural and interior designers word their sites accordingly.

    Photography rights

    Make sure you have the rights to use project photographs, and credit photographers where your agreement asks you to.

  3. 03

    Clients’ privacy

    Ask before showing a private home, and leave out anything that shows where a client lives.
