The short version
Browsing spinta.co.uk doesn’t put any cookies on your device, and the site doesn’t store anything else there either: no local storage, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. That’s why you haven’t seen a cookie banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, like local storage and tracking pixels, work in much the same way. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) says a site needs your consent before using any that aren’t strictly necessary.
Cookies on our private pages
Two parts of the site aren’t for the public, and each uses one cookie. Both are strictly necessary: those pages can’t work without them, so they don’t need consent. Neither is used for tracking or advertising.
- spinta_studio
- Keeps the Spinta team signed in to our private studio tools. Only set when one of us logs in. Lasts 7 days.
- spinta_review_access
- Set when a client opens a private review link we’ve sent them, so they can view their designs. Only works on that review page. Lasts 7 days.
Other companies
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Google doesn’t set cookies when it serves them, but your browser does connect to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address (see our privacy notice). We don’t embed social media buttons, maps, videos or adverts, so no other company can set cookies through this site.
If that changes
If we ever add analytics, or anything else that isn’t strictly necessary, we’ll ask for your consent first, and you’ll be able to change your mind at any time from every page.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can see, delete and block cookies in your browser’s settings. Here’s how in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
