A Spinta concept. A complete site, designed and built in-house to show what we’d make for an interior design studio. It isn’t a client commission, and any reviews, prices or figures in it are samples.

(01) The idea

A website concept for an interior design studio, made to feel like walking into one of its rooms: slow, warm and quietly sure of itself.

(02)

The challenge

Interior designers sell a feeling before they sell a service, and most studio sites miss it: a template, a grid of photos and a contact form. Nothing about them says calm, considered or made by hand.

The people who hire a studio like this look for a long time before they get in touch. The site has to hold them that long, show the work properly, and make the first enquiry feel easy rather than like a commitment.

(03)

What we did

  1. 01

    Art direction

The mood, the type and the pace, set to feel like the studio’s own rooms.

  2. 02

    Web design

Every section drawn from scratch around the work, with nothing borrowed from a template.

  3. 03

    Development

A fast, accessible build, written by hand and tuned for a phone.

  4. 04

    Motion

Scroll that slows where the work deserves a look, and never gets in the way.

  5. 05

    SEO and compliance

Structured data, cookie consent and the legal pages, built in from the start.

(04)

The site

The intro, then the first sections as the page scrolls

(05)

The approach

We started from the room, not the page. The first screen sets the studio’s name into the scene itself, behind the furniture, so the site opens like a door rather than a banner.

From there the page slows down where the work needs looking at (a featured piece, the workshop, one project walked through room by room) and keeps moving everywhere else.

The project index sorts by discipline and switches between a list and a grid, gliding between the two. The enquiry is short, and asks only what the studio needs to reply properly.

Built with

  • HTML, CSS and JavaScriptWritten by hand. No page builder, no theme, nothing to slow it down.
  • GSAP and ScrollTriggerThe motion, tied to the scroll and timed to the page.
  • GSAP FlipThe project index gliding between a list and a grid.
  • LenisSmooth scrolling, tuned to the pace of the page.

(06)

What we built

  1. 01

    A first screen with depth

The studio’s name set into the room itself, sitting behind the furniture, with the line and the way in laid over it.

  2. 02

    Pieces and craft

Featured pieces with their materials, and the workshop that makes them, shown the way the studio talks about them.

  3. 03

    A case study, told properly

One project walked through room by room, the way a client would want to see it before they call.

  4. 04

    A filterable project index

Every project by discipline, as a list or a grid, gliding between the two.

  5. 05

    Enquiries that arrive ready

A short form that sends the brief straight to the studio, with what they need to reply.

(07)
