Physiotherapist is a title protected by law: anyone using it must be registered with the HCPC. Osteopaths and chiropractors have their own registers, the GOsC and the GCC.

Claims about what treatment can achieve must be backed up; the advertising regulator is strict on health claims.

Booking and intake forms that ask about health collect special category data under UK GDPR, so forms and storage need care.
