Web design for electricians
People want an electrician who is registered, tidy and turns up. A website that proves all three before they call.

(01) What it needs
What an electrician’s website needs.
Electrical work is one trade where customers really do check credentials. They want to know you are registered with a competent person scheme, that you can certify the work, and that you have done their kind of job before, whether that is a consumer unit, a rewire, an EV charger or an EICR for a landlord.
A good electrician site puts the registration and the services front and centre, with reviews and a quick way to ask for a quote or a call back.
-
01
A page for each service
Rewires, consumer units, EV chargers, lighting, testing and EICRs, each worded the way people search for it.
-
02
Landlords and businesses
A clear route for landlords and commercial customers, who often need certificates fast and bring repeat work.
-
03
Proof of registration
Your scheme membership and registration number on show, so customers can check it themselves.
(02) The rules
What it must get right.
-
01
Notifiable work
In England, work like a new circuit or a consumer unit change has to be notified under building regulations, usually through your competent person scheme. Being able to certify it is a selling point, so say it clearly.
-
02
Badges you can back up
Only show scheme, manufacturer and trade logos you are currently entitled to use.
-
03
Landlord certificates
If you offer EICRs, say what the report covers and how quickly you issue it. Private landlords in England need one at least every five years.
A guide, not legal advice: we build the site to fit the rules you work under, and you confirm the details that are yours.
(03) Plans and prices
Fixed price. You know the number before we start.

(Questions)
Asked by electricians
Should I put my NICEIC or NAPIT number on my website?
Yes, if you are registered. Customers and landlords check it, and showing it clearly sets you apart from people who are not.
Can my website win me EV charger jobs?
A page of its own for EV charger installation, with the chargers you fit, typical costs and photos of installs, can rank for those searches on its own.
Do I need a website if I am busy through recommendations?
A simple one, yes. It is what people see when they look you up after a recommendation, and what you show on it helps you choose the jobs you want.
Tell us what you need, and you’ll have a fixed price and a date within 24 to 48 hours.
