/ Overview
An iOS app I designed, built and shipped to the App Store.
Fitevolve tracks training, food and progress without turning any of it into a social product. It is the app I open after I train.

/ Challenge
Fitness apps are loud. Streaks, feeds, plans you abandon by week three. The obstacle was not another feature list. It was making something people would actually open after they train, without turning any of it into a social product.
Capture has to happen between sets, one-handed, in a noisy gym. Food, weight and personal bests have to be as quick. If the day has to be reconstructed on the sofa, the data is already a lie. That is the constraint everything else sits on.
A product on the store I could stand behind. Not a pitch deck with a login screen. If it does not ship, it is not a product.
/ Provided services
Product design
Information architecture, one-handed flows, and a visual system quiet enough to use mid-session.
iOS development
A cross-platform build with cloud sync, subscriptions and offline capture, structured so the log stays readable as it grows.
Motion
Transitions that confirm an action without turning a training log into a showreel.
App Store release
Metadata, screenshots, review notes and submission handled in-house so it actually shipped.
/ Solution
I designed Fitevolve around the gap between sets: loads, notes, meals and weight in a hierarchy you can hit without looking down for long. Calm type, no feed, no streak theatre.
Progress is a history you can read over months. Charts for the work, not vanity metrics. Onboarding ends at the first session, not an account maze.
Signing, screenshots, review notes and submission were part of the build. The app is on the store because I treated that work as product, not a later panic.
/ Where it got to
/ What I shipped
Sessions
Loads, notes and movements, ready to fill in between sets.
Food and meals
Food logging and meal rotation, kept as quick as the session itself.
Weight and personal bests
Bodyweight and PBs sitting next to the work, in the same app.
Progress history
A record you can read over months. No feed. No streak.
